Two in a Row!!

The Desert Eagles Boys JV team traveled to Empire High School for a rematch against the Ravens. Last week, the Eagles led the whole game only to lose in the end by one. Tonight, the Eagles came out on a mission and took an early lead. They never gave up their lead, although the Ravens came within three in the fourth quarter. After a quick timeout and a reminder of last week's outcome, the Eagles went on a 10-0 run to put the game away. The team will travel to Santa Cruz on Friday and then Northwest Christian on Saturday. Let's keep the streak going, Eagles!!
JV Boys Win at Home!

After a very hard fought game, the JV Boys pulled out the victory tonight against the Benson Bobcats. The team was lead tonight by Michael Shew and Ben Brandon with both boys scoring 19 points. The team scored 20 points in the fourth quarter to secure the win. It was a great team effort with almost everyone contributing in scoring.
The team will travel to play Empire on Tuesday at 5:30. Then on Friday they will be in Eloy to play Santa Cruz and then Northwest Christian on Saturday. Should be a great week!! Go Desert!!
JV Boys Win Their First Game in Overtime!

It was a very exciting start to the JV Boys season yesterday against San Manuel. The Eagles got off to a good lead but San Manuel fought their way back to take the lead in the second half. Desert didn't give up and after a strong second half the game went to overtime with the game tied at 55. After some interesting clock management by San Manuel, the Eagles won the game with a final of 58-57. Their next game is at home on Saturday, Dec. 5th against Horizon Honors. Admission is free to all of the games that day so come and cheer for your Eagles!!
